Paint Class Themes – Ideas for your Event

Our abstract experience will encourage you to shift from known forms to a balance of colors, different textures, and experimentation. We provide an array of techniques that guide you through creating your own abstract art.

Not everyone needs to have a pet to participate. Painters can pick what they paint in this class theme. In this painting class, we bring our animals to life. It could be our dog(s), cat(s), horses, or bird(s). Anything goes. Painters will be asked to select a photo and bring it with them to the class. From there, I will guide them through a cheerful experience of painting the selected pet. We will see so much character come through. This is always a humorous choice.

We also incorporate mindfulness into our classes, but we offer to build in a few extra moments and treatments to slow the group down. Not only do we offer mindfulness painting techniques around reflecting on our work and the composition, but we build in down-time and space in the class for painters to really get into the details and experiment with their work. We can also offer mindfulness techniques and mantras if you are interested.

Most of our class formats are designed to break the ice and unwind a group. In this paint class theme, you pick the inspiration and we are focused on the group bonding and engaging with one another. Whether they sip or snack, it is really a social time for your group to have fun! The format includes ‘show and tells’ with your artwork and pop-corning around the room to check on one another’s progress.

We have several requests to paint the company logo, slogan or even college theme – we can accommodate you. All we need is the graphic in advance and partner on special requests. Our kits include a printed visual and custom paint colors to match your branding and theme. This helps put our painters at ease, as they paint something new. The group can even interpret and expand their art, beyond just the theme. We let painters experiment and go for it.
