The instructor will also engage the group – checking in on individuals progress, creating conversations and engagement between the participants in a virtual environment. The very best instructors know keep the group engaged, motivated and relaxed is the key to a virtual paint and sip class.
How do these differ from In Person Events?
The flow and format is very similar to in person events. A good instructor will connect with the students and keep the engaged with one another, very similar to an in person paint class. We show off our artwork by showing our videos, compared to walking around the room in an in person paint event.

You can expect a virtual painting instructor to lead your group step by step through a pre-selected painting inspiration. We have 1000’s of ideas to choose from and good instructors will help you select an inspiration that is best for the group.

What You'll Need to Participate
There are many different materials required for Virtual paint and sip classes. Everyone will typically need the following:
- a canvas / canvas board – something to paint on
- an array of brushes
- acrylic paint ( a variety of colors – black, white, blue, red and yellow, as our primary choices )
- a small plate to blend colors ( mixing red and yellow to get orange )
- a paper towel for messes
- a cup of water to rinse your brushes

We typically mail the paint kits 10 days prior to the event, so they arrive plenty of time in advance. - Choose beginner-friendl paintings

Playing music or having a theme is optional, but something to consider if your group is interested in dressing up or the event has a theme itself.
We have also done trivia in our virtual paint classes, which people really enjoy. - Offer prizes or mini contests
We love offering prizes. Sometimes ribbons, gift cards and award medals are available! It is a great way to create laughs and stir up a little competition.
