Our Approach
We started teaching paint classes because it was bringing people together and everyone was having a good time. Reflecting on our growth, we quickly realized that our virtual paint and sip evolved into an array of team-building benefits and a way for your group to recharge.
To participants and planners, we appear as a traditional paint class, but we provide so much more. Read on!
Benefits for your company
As your group makes art they are getting to know one another better. There are many benefits to the learnings, ques, and interactions that come from our team building paint classes. The benefits from our indirect art therapy approach can lead to:
- Employee retention
- Increase of positivity
- Authenticity of company culture
- Increased job satisfaction
- Mood and behavior changes
- promotes cohesion in the workplace
Active Participation
By promoting and encouraging 100% participation – team members will practice their creative thinking, problem solving and interact with others differently.
Active participation benefits their ability to get to know each other better through their creativity abilities and interactions.
Reduce Stress
As participants join our session, they are typically shifting from another meeting, which means they are likely distracted.
We slowly shift them to slow down and flow into the event. Ice breakers are used to instate laughter and we knock down walls of fear and allow participants to truly unwind.
Engagement
Whether your team is in person or virtual for our paint classes, we get people to talk to one another. Building connections through art is incredibly rewarding, not only for the participants, but for team bonding in general. This is just one of many impactful team building benefits.
In the classes, we take turns showing our art to one another, ask for volunteers, leverage ice breakers and more. If your team is sipping, we will encourage hydration, as well. 😉
Mindfulness
The art of pausing, patience and acknowledgement – so a long ways and feels good once you get there. Most of us are multitasking and moving quickly.
I promote a mindful approach to intentionally slow the group down, while still having fun that will renew and energize team members.

Team Bonding
Similar ties to engagement, your team will interact in new ways that will promote team building, and appreciation of contributions, strengths, and hidden talents.

They will acknowledge new strengths build relationships and laugh along the way.
Empowerment
Our paint and sip classes are a positive experience that empowers your team members to try something new in a supportive environment.
Each paint class is designed to showcase different painting tips, blending techniques and talking through our composition and subjects. Most importantly, we encourage participants to be themselves, which empowers them to be curious and opens them up to the experience.
Benefits for the Employees
A simple reflection – hands-off keyword and painting with a brush or even your fingers – Wow, that feels good. Taking a break from technology is a good thing. Talking about life, pets, kids, and foods feels good and is energizing as a human. People want to get to know one another and this is a great way to promote interaction and being ourselves.
