This pre-Halloween week has been a busy one for me. A few things are happening that I wanted to share with you all. Trunk or Treat, Spooky team-building events, and planning treats for adults and kids.
Spooky Paint and Sip Team Building Events
We have had a couple of spooky paint and sip events this week. One of the things I love about all holidays with paint and sip classes is that it is FUN to paint things that are not so serious. I do a lot of landscapes, flowers – you know – something that participants want to hang in their house. But sometimes, painting a haunted house or a scary pumpkin is really enjoyable. Some people like to bring out these paintings year after year. It is a fun way to build your holiday decorations and show them off to your friends.
As we kick off November in just a few days, we continue to paint many pumpkins, leaves, and autumn seasons. We also do many “giving thanks” and Thanksgiving-themed paint classes for teams and families. I continue to build out my inspiration board to give host ideas for team-building events. My inspiration board is always a great place to start, but I always welcome your thoughts. So bring it on and let me know what you like painting.
Here are a few favorites I am eyeing for this fall. What do you think?
Trunk or Treat
This weekend, we are participating in our community’s very first Trunk or Treat. I have a young son who is finally old enough to walk around and ‘trick or treat. Mom and Dad love candy – how convenient. The trunk or treat is at our local library, and we are doing a Paint and Sip VT theme! Our stuffed animals will be lined up with paintbrushes in their hands, painting their hearts out. I may even cut out a few mustaches to dress up their characters. I will have easels and canvas on display to show off their creations. It should be cute! I will share a picture below after the event.
I have made 80~ treat bags. Even though it is supposed to rain, I expect kids to come out.
I am looking forward to the experience!
Treats for Adults and Kids
As I think about the trunk or treat tomorrow, I may put together 10 FREE Paint Kits for Adults and Teens. First come, first serve. I thought it would be fun to give back to the community. If I can spin up more, I may. The kits include many different canvas size options ( they can pick ), a set of 4 brushes, and six custom acrylic colors. Art has continued to evolve in his’ and adults’ lives, and I am so grateful to be a part of the community. I will post pictures below after the event to show off the spread.
